I am so glad you're here. Taking the first step towards seeking support is a courageous act, and I'm honoured that you're considering me as part of your journey. I am a highly skilled and compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and unlock their full potential. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain clarity, and build the tools to thrive.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and abide by their code of ethics.
About me
I prioritise nurturing the connection between mind, body, and spirit to maintain my well-being. I engage in regular mindfulness practices, such as meditation and deep breathing exercises, to foster mental clarity and emotional balance. Physical activities like Pilates and nature walks help me stay attuned to my body's needs and promote overall health. Additionally, I dedicate time to spiritual reflection through journaling and connecting with my cultural heritage, which enriches my sense of purpose and interconnectedness. These practices not only sustain my personal health but also deepen my empathy and presence in therapeutic sessions.
I am deeply passionate about the work I do as a therapist. For me, it's more than a profession-it's a calling. I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves to live a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and fulfilling, no matter the challenges they've faced. What fuels my passion is the privilege of witnessing my clients' journeys toward growth, healing, and transformation.
I bring genuine curiosity, empathy, and respect to my work, personalising each session to suit your unique experiences and needs. With a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I integrate specific therapeutic approaches, emphasising empathy, self-awareness, and a holistic understanding of your life. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, gain deeper insights, and move toward meaningful, lasting change
As a British Asian therapist, I have firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the cultural nuances, values, and traditions of Asian communities. Navigating between Asian cultural norms and British societal expectations can be challenging. I specialise in this area offering therapy in both English and Punjabi.
I understand how important it is to feel safe when opening up about your thoughts and emotions. As your therapist, I am committed to creating a space where you can share openly, knowing that everything you say will remain private and confidential. I adhere strictly to professional and ethical standards, ensuring that your personal experiences and concerns are treated with the utmost respect and care. Whatever you're going through, you can trust that this is a place where your voice will be heard, your experiences validated, and your privacy safeguarded.
Psychotherapy is hard work, and you must be committed to actively engage in the process to create meaningful change. It's a collaborative effort that, in some circumstances, can help by processing emotions, gaining insight, and developing healthier coping strategies to navigate your life's challenges.
